The difference between mediumship readings and a psychic reading:

There is often a lot of confusion as what a Psychic and mediumship readings offer I would like to try and put this into simple terms :  

A psychic or a Clairvoyant reading is really a reading all about YOU - about yourself and your pathway in life and about clarification on what pathway you are on and what your options are in the future and what lies ahead.  A reading to show you what the future brings and what the past has dealt you.  A mediumship reading is a connection with those in the spirit world and evidence of survivial.  A mediumship reading is NOT a predictive reading.  If you want to know about your future then you are in need of a psychic or clairvoyant reading.  Clairvoyance means - "clear seeing" in French.  Some people are under the impression that a connection with the spirit world is to offer them a prediction for the future.  This is not the case and I do not make predictions when giving a mediumship reading.  It is a way of connection and comfort from those who have passed. Many people find this confusing and many mediums and psychics in training also get confused, I hope that this is a way of understanding what the difference is.

 When reading for someone, I begin by "tuning" into their aura by holding their hands.  I find that this gives me a good connection and it is usually during this time when I can pick up on a loved one in spirit that has drawn close.  I will give exactly what I receive and what I feel.

I will not tell you what to do with your life, that is for you to decide, but what I can do is offer clear guidance to point you in the right direction. It is up to you to make decisions and to change your destiny. By giving you insight of what there is surrounding you at the present time, and what your options are, this will make things seem clearer and give you greater awareness of what needs to be dealt with.   I have many years of training and experience in this way of working and coupled with my counselling and coaching skills I believe in have a unique way of working and helping people begin to deal with  difficult  situations in their lives.  It is always best to bear in mind that I cannot solve all problems by waving a magic wand,  but I what I can do is to help you see a way forward. 

IF YOU HAVE NEVER HAD A READING BEFORE PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS THESE POINTS WILL BE HELPFUL.

A reading is a two way communication with the client and the Reader.  It does not pay to try and withold anything or be very "closed" with the Reader.    No Reader likes to feel that they are being challenged . This does not show respect  and it's a shame that this has to be said, but, there are people who feel that the only way to achieve a reading is to be hostile and difficult in confirming information.  Obviously this has quite the reversed effect and all it achieves is a drop in energy and blocks the Reader. So always be open and respectful if you are having a reading and acknowledge that the Reader is telling you information that is right for you to hear at that time and there may be things that you are not ready to hear for whatever reason.  This is not an excuse, simply your own guides protecting you from things that maybe you  are not willing to, or able to embrace at that time.  Also things that you are told may not have happened yet so keep an open mind.  When having a mediumship connection in your reading then be prepared that you may not get contact with the person you expect to.  We cannot contact the spirit world to order, they contact us. 

 Every reading is an experiment and remember the Reader usually knows nothing about you except your name and therefore whatever she or he is giving you is to the best of their ability and their psychic knowledge at the time of the reading.   I never tell anyone what to do, it's up to you to make that choice and decision. When you come to see me for a reading be open and welcoming. Do not come with a list of questions to ask as I do not work that way, but will answer your questions without you asking them.  You always hear what you need to hear at that moment in time.

If seeing the Reader at their home then do try to arrive as near to time as possible.  There may be other clients before or after you so do not turn up extra early or late without a phone call to agree to this.  I have had people turn up over half an hour early because it suited them and fail to recognise that it may not suit me!  And obviously it goes without saying please cancel in good time if you are not available for your appointment. 

And most of all enjoy your reading!  It may not be the answer to everything and you should not be expecting it to be, but it will offer clarity and guidance.  

If choosing a Soul Reading (also known as a past life reading) this will delve - as it says into your soul and your aura to give you a reading from your past. As well as your present life and its experiences, your aura holds all of your past lives and all your experiences good and bad.  By looking further into your soul and your past lives, this type of reading can unlock and clarify many behavioural patterns and phobias that you may carry forward with you in everyday life. These readings do not predict the future, they help you acknowledge why you may be where you are in your life today.

The purpose of these readings are to prove survival and to contact a loved one who has passed over. These are not readings to predict the future. The messages are received from Spirit and it is good to bear in mind that every reading is an experiment and it can never be guaranteed to link with a certain individual as it is Spirit’s choice as to who comes through with a message and love. It is best to be open minded when having this type of reading. A reading of this nature can offer great comfort and a real closure for those who receive the contact. I can only offer people what I receive and if I feel the connection is not there I will be honest and say this.  As my disclaimer states by law as a working psychic and medium, I have to state that all my readings are for entertainment purposes only.  

As some people who would like readings with me live a fair distance away, I can read over the telephone.  This requires you to send me a cheque in advance and also to arrrange a time to call me.  Usually these readings will take about 30 -40 mins.

Please note: these readings are done as if you were sitting with me.  I do not do 'ad hoc' readings on the telephone and all appointments must be booked with me and paid for in advance. I work as a private reader and I do not take credit cards.
